My poor computer!

I am so in need of a new computer. This one seems to have one problem after another. To be fair, it is getting rather old. This time it wasn't booting at all, and we finally had to reinstall Windows XP, and then wound up having to wipe one of our drives. Thankfully i managed to salvage almost everything, I think, but it's been a very frustrating last couple of days.

Hubby and I were kind of freaking out trying to think of ways to afford a new computer if we couldn't fix this one, and not coming up with anything really. So I'm really glad we got this one up and running again, at least for now, though I'm still hoping to buy a new one soon-ish. After I catch my heating, power, and all my other essential bills up of course. And hopefully down some of the medical debt. Ack.

Because of the computer bit, my fanfiction wound up a little delayed. Right now I'm working on a chapter of both my stories, but I'm not sure which I'll wind up finishing and posting tonight.

And... I wound up losing all the formatting I had done for my poetry book. So now I have to essentially start all over with it. I wish I had at least made a list of all the poems I wanted to use, but I didn't, so it's back to digging through random poetry files for me. Gah. I'm mad about it, because I really wanted to have it self-published through Lulu very soon. :(
